Excellent location, completely peaceful and right by the backwater. Very friendly owners. Had wonderful conversations all the while. Food was local and authentic, and was really tasty. Highly recommended for those who love tranquility in nature's lap.

May be a cupboard in the room would be nice addition.

"authentic backwater homestay"

enjoyed Ayana’s home stay, interesting building on an island - they send a quick boat over the river to collect you which adds to the experience. we arrived after dark but got a beautiful evening meal with no fuss and good chat with the host. Breakfast and coffee also really good.

"peaceful calm location"

Friendly family, nice traditional house on an island, beautiful walk around the village. Reachable walking our with boat man we enjoyed our boat trip from Aleppey with the government ferry boat.
