Sukhmanee Home Stay

The staff was very nice and very helpful. They gave us drinking water when we needed it. The wifi is very good and the Aircon works perfectly. We slept like babies because there's no window so it's pitch dark in the room.

The room was actually pretty dirty with lots of hair on the floor. The bedsheets were also dirty with hair and stains everywhere. So we asked for a new set of sheets. (Which was done without hassle). The shower doesn't have hot water so you need to use a bucket to pour the hot water. The hotel is around 25-35 minutes walk to the centre. We like walking and seeing the real India but if you're not used to it and it's the first time in India, this might not be for you.

Unclean rooms and washrooms. The room was not cleaned until asked to do so, the blanket and sheets were dirty and smelly.

Situated in amritsar city centre, sukhmee home stay is the perfect place to experience in amritsar and its surroundings. Good service, good rooms, good stay experience good food and nice location are some highly appreciated with reasonable rates. Polite staff near to golden temple convenient for vehicles also no need to search for another hotel .they provide pick and drop facility also Full recommended! No doubt! ! Best service

Charging of Rs. 30.00 for water bottle without informing and Rs. 30.00 for 10rupee biscuit packet.

Room Size & Cleanliness.

We Book AC room, but Guest House Staff Switch off the AC through main board in midnight. Guest House Menu Rate list & Final Rate list is differ. (We paid Rs 200/- extra). Convienence problem. Guest House Staff Told me " Station se Rs 100/- lagega aane me & they charge Rs 200/-. I Suggest if You Book this Guest House first check actual location & other facilities.
