The hotel location is perfect for getting around Bali, it’s right opposite Gigisusu. The room is basic - but it reflects the low price.

The toilet smelled of pee and we did not feel comfortable using it, cleanliness could have definitely been better. Now the people operating the establishment made us feel very weird. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to pay for the room and we said sure and their card machine was not working. So then we kinda left it for the day and then the morning after as we were walking in, they said can you please pay for your room and we said yeah sure one moment we’ll drop our stuff and on our way back we’ll pay. And until we had done that, we got a couple of messages on WhatsApp asking us to pay same as in Booking.com, which was ridiculous. They made us feel as if we were going leave without paying, that is not the right way to go about things.

We stayed here for a week and loved it! Really nicely done rooms & place! It was nice to have a shelf in the fridge and that they provided a water refill station. You also get a discount at a few local shops. You can easily walk to the beach (about 10 minutes) or plenty of places to shop and eat. We loved hanging out by the pool (pools towels are provided in addition to shower tools which is awesome). Everything was nicely done with the decor & layout. There's an empty lot (for now) next door, so it's quiet and pretty to see the banana trees and green area. The rooms, balcony, pool area, and little hangout areas all had outlets, so you could work too. It feels very safe since it's down a quiet street, and there is a staff member at the front desk area. Wifi was great! If you're lucky, the pups & kitties will hang out with you by the pool!

Very minor and not enough to take away anything in our opinion, but the bathroom could use a deep clean. It was all clean & tidy but just to get some of the built up stuff off.

Large clean rooms with very comfortable beds. The pool and garden are relaxing. The staff is very friendly and lovely.

The pool and the garden were well cared for and relaxing. The rooms were huge with a comfortable king sized bed. Having a shared kitchen with a fridge shelf was appreciated. Great location for a walk to the beaches and great neighborhood restaurants.

Building noise

This has been our favourite stay in Bali! Beautiful pool and open kitchen area which was always a quiet place to relax during our stay. Rooms are great and are cleaned daily at your convenience. The property has a great atmosphere with super friendly staff and a couple of cute cats. Location is perfect, close to everything you need but nice and quiet. Cannot recommend enough, we would definitely come back if we ever return to Canggu.

You never know what to expect when you rely on other folks ratings, but this was certainly a jewel in Canggu. It was just off the Main Street and so close to everything and a 5-10 minute walk to beach and yet very quiet. It had a Moroccan style to the building and the pool was separated from the main building rooms by archways and plants. This gave people around the pool some privacy. There was a common area where each room had a specific area in the fridge and lots of room to sit and relax. The staff were very friendly and became like family. I ended up staying here 15 days and was sad when I had to leave.

The only part I didn't like was leaving.
