Tapada

The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. I quite liked the open bathroom space, it added atmosphere and natural light. The location is great: not so close to the beach bars and clubs, or the main street, so it's quiet at night. It's a quick walk in two directions for the beach, and easy access for snorkeling. Plenty of warungs and restos nearby too, though nowhere is far on the island. Didi was a wonderful host who makes an excellent pancake! Having breakfast on the personal patio each morning was lovely. I appreciated the quality of the mosquito net. WiFi was good and consistent. There was a water bottle in the room which was fantastic.

The following isn't really a criticism of the place, it's more information for the noise sensitive traveller: the bungalows are between a family home with young children and a house under construction, so during the day there was lots of noise. Nights were quiet until the 4.30am call to prayer (heard all over the island, and the location softens it a bit) and then nearby roosters kick off for the next three hours. Neither of which is Tapada's fault, but I wanted to mention these as they disrupted my sleep - the roosters in particular. I was ready to make them into chicken wings. Also bring bug spray, the mosquitoes are plentiful.

Séjour très agréable. Notre hôte a été très sympa. Très bon petit déjeuner. Possibilité de louer des vélos sur place et de faire laver son linge. La plage est à côte de l'hôtel. La chambre est conforme à la description et propre.

Der Owner war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wie auch jederzeit erreichbar falls man was brauchte. Am Morgen kann man Frühstück aufs Zimmer bestellen. Das Zimmer ist mit einem Mückenschutznetz ausgestattet.

Не плохой вариант на пару ночей.

Die Insel ist klein, daher ist alles gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Restaurants, Bars, kleine Supermärkte. Von Hafen braucht man eine gute Viertelstunde zu Fuß. Das Zimmer ist richtig groß! Das Frühstück war lecker.

Eigentlich finde ich Freiluftbäder richtig toll, aber in der Regenzeit können sie echt problematisch sein. Ich konnte nur mit Schlappen herumlaufen, die Handtücher, das Klo, der Boden, alles war die ganze Zeit nass und es hat von der Decke getropft.

Très bon emplacement proche de la plage et des restos. Très grande chambre avec une grande salle de bain. Très bonne clim. Très bon WIFI. Hôte chaleureux. Ambiance familiale. Très bon petit déjeuner avec choix.

La chambre était propre, très mignonne, et l’emplacement est idéale, près du centre-ville. La propriétaire est adorable

Nous avons logé dans l’ « économique » room, les murs étant en Bamboo, nous entendons tout ce qui se passe dehors.
