The host was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and he would ensure that we were satisfied with portions etc. Outside terrace is nice to sit on. One of the best WiFi we have had in Sri Lanka.

My boyfriend and I had a short but a lovely stay at Kandy. We took the cheapest room because we were in transit and stayed only one night, but if you are staying longer, I recommend taking one of the other rooms as they are a bit more expensive and probably a bit better - but this was definitely an excellent value for money. The host is so nice and he made us a delicious breakfast and explained everything we asked about. We didn’t walk to the city centre as we had a short stay, but we took tuk-tuk and it took us there for less than one dollar.

The host was the kindest soul I’ve ever met! He put all the effort to make our stay amazing! Gave us the best tickets for the cultural show at a cheaper price, gave us the best tips for the city and arranged a tour at a very reasonable price. He made extra tea or lemonade just to accommodate us better without charging anything. He was also knowledgeable about historical, religion, cultural facts of his country! The best experience and accomodation in Sri Lanka! Also the room was spacious, clean, comfortable and the view very beautiful!

The apartment is very clean, the location is good, but their hospitality is so sencere, nice and warm that we really felt like at home. Not to mention the food, which was delicious.

The room I had was great, comfortable and had a little area to sit out. The owner is fantastic, I arrived sick, coughing etc and he went out of his way to help. Good location, 20 min walk or 5 min tuk tuk into town. Supermarket only 5 mins walk Decent breakfast and coffee All round nice place and owner.

WiFi is not the best but works.

Everything but especially the host. He was honestly the kindest and most helpful host that we experienced on our entire trip. He cannot do enough for you. Location is also pretty central for cheap Tuk Tuk rides (or reasonable walks) to everything. Some local shops and vendors too. Great breakfast. Lovely balcony to eat in and watch the going’s in. An accommodation that we will revisit.

Some building work to extend property was going on at time but it will finish soon and we were out during the day (when they worked) anyway and so really not a problem.
