Sahyadri Homestay wayanad

Hi I had travelled to Sahyadri Home stay from Oct 19-21. It was value for Money. The caretaker and his wife were very friendly. Infact I had requested for an early breakfast as we had to go somewhere early and they made delicious breakfast before time. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was homemade cuisines. Facilities include kitchen, Dining area, swing, carrom. Overall a recommendable place to stay if you are visiting Meenangadi or surrounding areas in wayanad. Thank you so much for the hospitality.

Excellent host ever

They served different dishes in breakfast and dinner daily. Owners were so nice and helpful. We joined everything there. The view, food, property. Will definitely going to stay there whenever possible. They took care of everything so well. Balcony gave very different and homily feel.

Very peaceful, clean and in a calm locality with spacious rooms/balcony/bathroom. Shri Ajay and Smt Kavya are very thoughtful and excellent hosts. They made our stay very memorable by going the extra mile and helping with all our requests. They also assist with itinerary planning, vehicle etc. Food is vegetarian and very good. All necessary amenities like hot water, power backup, free parking, filtered drinking water, refrigerator, kitchen etc. are available. Overall a wonderful stay.

Nothing major. Slightly difficult getting around if you don't have a private vehicle. But the hosts assist with arranging vehicle for a reasonable price. Mr Ajay was also gracious to share his scooter with me for going to nearby shops.

A family run Homestay which is very well maintained, very clean and in the middle of nature. It's away from the busy Kalpetta area and gives a more quaint feel. The host Ajay, his wife and mother run this place and ensure that all your requirements are personally overseen. The food served here is excellent and very homely. Your stay here would make you feel very much at home and part of the family. They also have a kitchen with all the equipment required for you to cook if you like. A washing machine for your laundry is also available. The location is also equidistant from all the major attractions of Wayanad and Ajay can definitely help you jot down an itinerary to make the most of your time there. There are multiple restaurants around who can also deliver at the homestay. Overall, this was more than we expected for the price, the location, the facilities and more importantly, the friendly environment created by the host family.

Super welcome, breakfast, luxury! You can go there with your eyes closed, you'll be warmly welcomed. Thank you again
