I got the recommendation from Lonely Planet and can only echo what they say. The have a covered dining terrace with various flours with a great view over Kangding and on Paoma Shan. I really enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast. The personal is very friendly. They showed me around in Kangding on their free time and also arranged a driver for my trip to Tagong. If you are arriving from lower altitude, I would recommend to take a taxi as it is a little further up from the city center but therefore

The guesthouse is a bit further up from the city center, which can be challenging at this altitude. But if you take a taxi, it is fine and you have a great view in return.

Loved the place, so nicely done with great communal areas. I was the only guest at the time but staff was super friendly.

It is very much op a hill. Be prepared 🙂
