The place is gorgeous. The breakfast in front of a pond is a beautiful moment. Everyone in the family is so kind. The mountains, the boats and the cafe puncak are just behind. We did a tour to visit the prehistoric caves and other surprises, it was great.

Maybe need a little and gentle light, some shelves and a mosquito net in the room to be perfect.

So eine nette Familie. Sehr hilfsbereit und perfekt gelegen. Hier gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir haben eine Nacht an Silvester/Neujahr hier verbracht. Eine schöne authentische Erfahrung. Wir waren alle zusammen bei der Tante nebenan und es gab viel frittiertes und traditionellen Sarabba. Es ist ein einfaches Homestay mit einer sehr netten Familie. Man sollte keinen Luxus erwarten, es ein Homestay. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer war sauber. Es gibt eine normale Dusche und westliches WC, falls das für jemand relevant sein sollte. Die ganze Familie ist wirklich nett. Die Lage ist toll und der Balkon hat einen schönen Blick. Es ist möglich dort zu essen und auch Touren werden angeboten. Rammang Rammang war auf jeden Fall ein Highlight unseres Süd Sulawesi Trip und es gibt dort viel zu entdecken.

The bedroom was nice and clean, as was the bathroom, which was spacious. There was no AC in the bedroom, but there was a fan, and it being the rainy season, that was enough. The ‘complete’ dinner (rp. 50.000) was excellent. I quite enjoyed the porch, which was cool and allowed a nice breeze in, and had an excellent view of the rice fields. I passed the afternoons there when resting, and that was nice. The family was friendly. Although the Rammang-Rammang tour was rather expensive (rp. 800.000 for a one-person group, for one day), much of that was in fees at the places that we went, and the guide was friendly, experienced, and well-informed. The Leang-Leang tour was rp. 120.000, for a one-person group for about an hour of driving and then waiting for me while I walked around the site for a couple of hours or so.

I was woken up by the neighborhood cats, which were loud sometimes, but then again, I was only barely sleeping lightly.
