The location. It is among a lot of buildings in a former-(?)industrial area. Most of the buildings are now redesigned into other businesses like event locations or art related businesses. We find it delivers a unique flavor. It takes about 30 minutes walking thro forest and residential areas into the old town. Driving only a few minutes. Parking is easy and reasonably priced can even be free on weekend. So it is not really that difficult to have nice dinner or bakery. At our time of stay it was very quiet at night. The owner is very responsive. We arrived earlier and could check in right away. Parking directly in front of the window. And plenty of places to park too. We booked one double room and one apartment(no.2). Both are very clean and stylish. The rooms are very spacious and with the very high ceilings you do feel even more space. The bathroom of the apartment is huge. The beds are very comfortable We had very good sleep. There are plenty of supplies like coffee capsules, tea bags or toilette paper. Even if we only stay one night.

We only wish there could be a flat night stand to place water for the night. otherwise we had everything we need and it was a very good experience and we would definitely book again.

The Apartments were wonderfully renovated and beautifully decorated. The three paintings in apartment 1 really reflect the Schwarzwald theme and are a main focal point. I could have viewed the paintings for hours. The kitchenette is small but sufficient. The apartments have very high cielings making them seem even larger than they already are. The bathroom is very large and the shower is as well. The bathroom has a nice sized window and the bedroom has two windows which provides good ventilation. The towels were very nice and thick. This is located in a very, very old industrail area that has undergone redevelopment. I found the area to be extremely interesting. The area is surrounded by forest. I would suggest a car is needed for this location. I am looking forward to staying there again next year.

The refrigerator's freezer was not usable.

This was a terrific find for us. The staff welcomed us and endeavored to answer all our questions. The accommodation is 5* quality with tasteful decor and a big bathroom.

Easy check-in and check-out with flexible timing upon request. Very comfy bed, nice little kitchen and beautiful bathroom. Kitchen well equipped (maybe add a corkscrew), nice interior design with also cool pieces of art! Convenient electricity plus in good locations and perfectly clean!

A lot of switches for lights that are not connected to anything, while the light in the entry hell didn't work. It's a little outside of town, so there's no way to get a bus to city center on weekends, which means a 30 minutes walk or taxi.

Apartment was very spacious, had everything we need!

Loved everything about this property. This was our second stay during our trip. Love the convenience of check-in and check-out. Beautiful room, great amenities.
