Pine Hill Home Stay

The location of the property , the food , the staff , the room everything was very nice . I went with two teens and my father in law who is 74 yrs old. Everyone felt comfortable with the stay! The person who manages the property is one to go person who responds to each and everything ! Anytime we can count on her. She also helped us with car for sightseeing with an awesome driver which is the bestest I would say for the stay! The food was served hot hot with pleasant and helpful staffs . Had a very happy stay

Nothing much just few suggestions from our side - They provide only room heaters, it was hard for people like us who are used to hot weather. May be they can work on this ! Room service is not available, if it was there atleast for dinner it would have been helpful

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner and all her staff were warm and helpful. They made us feel very comfortable. We got freshly cooked, hot food every day for breakfast and dinner which was delicious and homely! We got to try some local dishes and they were fantastic. Everyday when we returned to the homestay after visiting some of the nearby attractions, they would serve garam-garam chai with biscuits and rusk. The room and attached bathroom were simple but neat and clean. The nights were freezing so they provided thick blankets and a heater that kept us very comfortable. We appreciated the fact the owner of the place was very much involved in the day-to-day running of the place.

It seems like confirmation on booking.com is not a guarantee of room availability at this property. When we arrived on the first day, there was no room reserved for us. They did accommodate us from the second day onwards. It would be good if booking.com and the property owners provided clear directions and instructions for customers on whether any kind of reconfirmation is required before arrival. The first night in the room we encountered a wasp nest inside our room which was very scary but the homestay staff took care of it right away and we came back to a neat and clean room. They were very apologetic that they had missed the nest. One suggestion would be to include a small kit in the room that would have tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar, creamer, and some cups and glasses so that we do not have to wait for the morning tea.
