F8 Room 1, Private Double room with private bathroom in shared Flat

The location is not bad (depending on what you need) - 30 mins walk to Valetta, 20 mins walk to Sliema, close to the bus stop and a small marina (you can have very pleasant walks to Sliema or partly to Valetta along it). Also, Lidl is in just 500 metres. We also appreciated the check-in process (without a host) as we arrived and departed late after midnight.

We knew it was a cheap accomodation, but the reviews were unfortunately much better than it appeared in reality. We stayed for 4 nights, and noone even tried to do a basic cleaning. Hosts were sending us tons, just tons of information each day but ignored most of my questions or requests. Also, they have a loooooooong list of rules but in reality they violate it themselves. The was a guy living in the next apartment inside this shared flat - perhaps he stayed long-term or maybe he was even one of the hosts/managers but he behaved like the whole apartment was his own. All the common area (kitchen and living room) was full with his stuff, the common table had his opened bottle of wine, dirty glasses, dirty kitchenware for all 4 days we were staying there... also plenty of spoiled food occupying the whole refrigerator. He was also listening to the loud music and we had to ask him to lower it again and again. The air conditioning is available for additional money which look really strange. The hosts explain they do it to keep the prices low, but I'd really wish I just paid more money but didn't have to deal with this stuff. Finally, the window of the apartment is really small and faces the wall) so you practically don't have sun inside, and the apartment is quite dark and cold even in sunny days.
