Sea sound cabana & Restaurant

Nice new big room, with very comfortable huge bed. Amazing terasse with nice view to garden. Sitting here you can always hear sea waves from the beach which is 300 m walk distance. Restaurant offers very tasty food. I really recommend this place in case you look for quite stay.

Wonderful place at a 5min walk from Tangalle beach. Very friendly family who runs the place. There is a very relaxed atmosphere and you have a nice patio to relax in front of the cabana. The room was clean. We enjoyed the tranquility of this part of Tangalle a lot. There's a very high chance of seeing monkeys in the neighborhood and seeing turtles nesting nearby in the evening.

There are many mosquitos so bring insect repellent. It's rather far from the center of Tangalle. It's about a 25min walk to the busstop at the mainroad. From there you can take any bus to the Tangalle busstation/town (40 LKR one way).

This place is very remote but very peaceful and beautiful. The family who own it are very kind and helpful. Even helping with the recovery of our phone days after we had left which we had lost in a tuk tuk. It is a short walk to the Rekawa Beach but to note this beach is much too dangerous for swimming or even for children to play by the water. Stunning and so quiet though. The cabanas are simple but the place is very well kept and very clean. Food was good too.

Huge and comfortable bed. Massive bathroom with a hot and a cold shower. Quiet a night, and had lovely outdoor private seating. Perfect location for the beach and turtle spotting. Little further out of town.

No AC so did get a little warm at night.

An absolutely great experience to stay at Sea Sound. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and they e.g. cocked a great seafood Christmas dinner and took us fishing. It is located 3 min. walk from the beach, where there is a small turtle sanctuary, where they release the baby turtles around 18.30 pm. (Dec.-Jan.). Quiet place. Great for relaxing and for families.

We loved our3 nights stay at Sea sound. Very good location, quiet except for the many peacocks early morning, lovely family and yummy banana pancakes and homemade yogurt for breakfast. Spacious room and very comfortable bed.

Only the lightning was a bit weak in our room as one bulb was not working anymore :)
