Ohiya Jungle resort

The people are very very friedlich and helpful and they cook very nice meals :-)

The room should be renovated and more clean. The Standard was very basic.

The place is absolutely breath taking and the food is another story ..its fresh from the garden . And they are very cooperative helped us to move around ohiya and showed us the places that we haven't been. And looking forward to visit that place again.

Great place to stay for Horton plains! The place is not located at the station as indicated but the transfer to/from the train station was provided at no charge. A peaceful and quiet place in the jungle, very restful. The hosts were friendly and helped me with everything i needed (even bought me fruit and provided bottled water at request). Transfer to/from Horton plains was also organised by the host, at a very reasonable price. There was hot water in the shower. Dinner was provided at request, and was good and inexpensive. Overall, a great experience, totally recommended!

Keep in mind that this hotel is far from everything - bring everything you need with you to avoid the hassle of trying to buy staples. Cell phone connection by mobitel is sketchy, dialog is a little better.

Very nice guesthouse to stay in Ohiya. It's located close to Horton Plains National Park.Transport to the park can be arranged by the guesthouse. Large rooms with bathrooms and common garden. The staff is veeeeery friendly and if you need to solve any issue, it is solved quickly. Very friendly boss, always ready to help. The food served in the guesthouse is amazing, one of the best we tried in Sri Lanka.If you order the dinner be prepared for huge portions! Perfect place to stay near Horton Plains!!

Even thought the options were limited, the host prepared our BF cleanly. Property is located with a small distance from the 🚉 but it wasn’t an issue for us since the owner provided up and down tuk tuk service. The owner was kind enough to prepare the meal of our one year old kid as we expected. They were very friendly throughout our stay. Expecting to visit the place again with family 🙂

The condition of the room could have been better in order to ensure the comfortability of the guest.
