Wild Blue Water

The in suite bath was exceptional, the hot tub and grounds were amazing. Go to the overlook towards the water, there are two chairs & perfect for coffee/wine. Make sure you read the description of the property, there are dogs on the property and they also allow campers in tents (2 spots) towards the property entry that use the pool and spa. If you are coming to the property by car, there are potholes in the gravel road, take the south road in, and it’s far shorter. Also, the amenities provided (hot pot, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, coffee, creamer, utensils) were plenty for me. Also the two guidebooks in the room were awesome!

I don’t have really anything negative to say! If you want your own room and private entry - recommend going to another location. If you don’t mind entry to the front door to your room where you may run into your host, than this is a great spot.

Great location, clean room, amazing views, rainforest Eco Lodge feeling with hotel amenities. Greeted by a sweet dog family.

Private bathroom in listing by booking.com was not clear about the fact that the bathroom is not ensuite.

Accommodations were very well done- beautiful tile. Bed was comfy Limited cooking was available for easy meals. We're dog lovers and enjoyed the 5 dogs. Grounds were beautiful. Pool was inviting.

My husband missed having a television.

Great room, bed and position. Great spot for a couple to relax and enjoy genuine peace, no passing traffic, no noticeable neighbours and no tv. Pool and outside spa were great and the viewing spot near the oceans edge was a delightful surprise.

The following is more advice than things we did not like: Depending on where you are coming from a car is essential, the property provides cooking facilities so you will need to bring food. We would usually drive 10-12 minutes back into Pahoa for dinner and that is also where you will find a supermarket to stock up.

The view

Absolutely excellent! The property is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers everything you need for a perfect stay. The rooms were spotless, and all the amenities were top-notch. The hospitality was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and truly made our stay special. Highly recommend and would love to return!
