Hmong house Sapa

Spectacular views, great service

Heerlijk verblijf in het leuke dorpje Tavan vlakbij Sapa. De homestay ligt prachtig in de bergen met een mooi uitzicht. Het is er vaak mistig, maar als de zon gaat schijnen is het er ontzettend mooi. De familie is heel gastvrij en vriendelijk. Onze kinderen konden leuk met hun kinderen spelen. Je kunt aanschuiven voor het diner wat smakelijk en uitgebreid is. Het ontbijt is elke dag anders. De herbal tour die ze aanbieden is erg leuk en ook heel geschikt voor kinderen (wel draagzak mee voor kleine kinderen). Op loopafstand van de homestay zitten allemaal leuke cafés waar je heerlijk buiten op het terras of binnen bij het haardvuur kunt zitten. We huurden scooters en reden bijna dagelijks naar Sapa. Een leuk avontuur om door het dorp en de bergen te rijden!

Het ontbijt start wat laat (08:30) voor de kinderen. Echter zijn ze heel flexibel en hadden ze het ontbijt 40 min eerder klaar toen we bij ons vertrek vroeg weg moesten.

Where to start - the location is stunning, waking up to those views every morning was incredible. Su and her family were so helpful in every way, organising an early morning pick up from the bus station, tickets for Fansipan, a local trek. Breakfasts were simple and yummy and I would highly recommend having dinner as the food was local , fresh and exceptional . The rooms ( we had a family room with a balcony are spacious and the shower was one of the best we’ve had in Vietnam. It’s a short walk to the local village where you can find cafes and bars- we loved Hmong Sisters for a good cocktail and food with a fusion of Vietnam and France . This is our first homestay and we would definitely do again, lots of privacy and still a wonderful connection with the family . I would definitely recommend organizing any pick ups or drop offs with the Homestay driver as the roads are quite tricky and he is safe and thoughtful , also price good value. Also book your hikes and tours through the homestay as local people are supported . Thanks again we are sad to leave

Everything was wonderful

La gentillesse du personnel, la vue magnifique dans la vallée ( pour moi une des meilleures ). Nous étions dans un bungalow. Chambre spacieuse avec belle terrasse et grande salle de bain. Les excursions proposées par Sue valent le coup. En prime nous avons eu un temps ensoleillé les 2 jours. 😎

Everything was perfect. The place, the view, the host, and the food. It was remote and far from the city and its exact the place we wanted.

Wat niet beviel, is overdreven maar douche kop was heel laag en deed de andere kop er niet

Got upgraded to the bungalow, and it was the most beautiful stay I had in all of my travels in Vietnam! A lot of beautiful attention to detail, and a killer view. The breakfast was also included and very extensive, which surprised me. The hosts are very friendly and lovely and they also offer a lot of interesting tours.
