We had a great time staying here. The owner was super nice and helpful, the breakfast curry delicious (we asked for vegan food and there was no problem), rooms comfortable and the location perfect. Also there is hot water and rooms have AC.

If you are looking for a budget stay in Hiri, that's the place! Great location a few mins walk from the beach and close to everything. I stayed in a single room which was simple but very clean with a comfortable bed and had everything I needed. The host family are the kindest and most helpful, they looked after me like a family. The included breakfast is simply delicious.

Room was little bit tight and dark. But luckily there is guests living room outside the room where you can hang out :)

Such a friendly, beautiful family! We were there in April 2023 and they had 4 cute puppies. Their son is really friendly, too and is fluent in English. Loved the Hoppers and Dal for breakfast. Air-conditioning was working perfectly fine. There are mosquito nets over each bed and it was quiet at night. We were very happy with our stay. Very close to the beautiful beach of Hiriketiya. Great restaurants nearby.

Everything was great! Expect the bathroom to be more basic - which we didn't mind. It was clean and had everything we needed. Was nice to stay with a local family!

Breakfest was amazing, location is great just a few minutes walk from the beach. Room was comfy, A/C worked perfectly good! Hot water in the shower.

A lovely homestay property, with a wonderful family. This property is very homely, the bathroom is basic, but has a great hot shower. Beds have mosquito nets and there is room to put your belongings. The air conditioning works really well. The location is just a short walk from the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. It was a pleasure to stay with this family.

Great location, 3 min walk to the beach... The family that runs this place is amazing, really friendly. Also, the breakfast was delicious.

the place is right by Hiriketiya’s beautiful beach. the rooms have great athmoshpere with AC and hot water for a very affordable price. my experience was a little different. I had a physical medical issue that had to be treated right away. the family that own the place are probably the nicest people I have ever met.. they took their time to take care of me, bringing me food medicine and brief check up from time to time to see my progress. the father even took a whole day off work to drive me around hospitals and he was with me for every little need, such as speaking with the locals, giving me food and holding my hand. I want to honestly thank this family for being so overwhelmingly good people. I will definitely come back again.
