Approach road to the property is narrow

The mattress is quite hard and caused body pain. Can arrange scheduled room service to sweep, throw trash and change of towel.

Beautiful spot in the backwaters. Quiet and serene escape from the city bustle. Loved my room and view. I was offered a boat excursion but didn't need it because I had the best view of the backwaters from my room and the grounds. Nice food too. The included breakfast was plentiful. In fact too much food for one person. Good home style food too. Dinner on my first night was excellent. 2nd night was ok. Easy 30 minute auto or taxi ride to Kochi.

There was some noise from construction of a new resort they are building on the property. This made for an ugly entrance. But once inside, it wasn't really noticable. Noise was intermittent during the day and did not wake me up in the morning. For the price of the stay, I really shouldn't complain. I feel like I am lucky to have gotten to stay here with the local vibe. I'm sure the new resort will be beautiful, but I worry it will lose it's charm and uniqueness. The resort is small though, just a building. I hope they do keep the waterfront rooms though. Felt pushed with upselling. Owner kept trying to get me to book a boat ride. I'm not sure if he was just over eager and trying to he helpful or trying to make a sale. Either way, it's not really a complaint. I turned it down kindly each time. I felt no need to spend more money when I had such a beautiful space to watch the sunset and the local scene from my balcony.

Location of the resort is the best. It is located right on the sea side. Breakfast was good as well.

The approach road from Main road to the resort is very bad, full of potholes and very narrow road.
