Cat Ba Central Homestay

Located in the city center, within walking distance to many attractions, and exceptionally clean. The hotel owner and his wife are extremely hospitable and helpful. They assist with planning all the activities you may need. On our last day, they even stayed with us until we boarded the bus when leaving the island. Highly recommended.

Honestly the best place I have been to in Vietnam. Very clean, cosy, calm, well located. Comfy bed, cute balcony, everything was just great. Hosts were very professional, helpful, and friendly. Thanks to them I spent a wonderful time in Cat Ba. Would absolutely recommend :)

La famille est très sympathique et serviable. Ils nous ont aidés à réserver un taxi et même le bus pour notre étape d'après. Nous avons réservé des nuits supplémentaires en direct avec le propriétaire. Le homestay est un peu excentré et il y a une montée pour y arriver. Pour nous, c'est un atout car nous avons pu vivre proche du quotidien des Vietnamiens de Cat Ba. Il y a des taxis dans le centre si la montée vous effraie. La chambre était spacieuse et propre. Le balcon rajoutait du charme.

Il n'y avait pas de bouilloire dans la chambre, soit disant pour des raisons de sécurité (mais une bouilloire était disponible à la réception). Le lit était un peu dur pour les standards européens.

Great value for the price! We stayed 4 nights in a very spacious and clean room. The room got cleaned with new towels everyday. The locations is very nice and close to some great restaurants. The owners are also very nice.

Great location, enough away from the centre so it felt quieter and a more authentic local experience. But only 15 minute walk to be in the heart of it all. Super helpful owner who organised a trip and taxi for me. Felt very safe as a solo traveller. Fantastic shower with good hot water, fridge in room…a fantastic price for what you get.

Chambre très confortable et propre

Certes M. Thruan est très gentil mais pas très correct concernant le prix des excursions. En comparant avec les autres passagers présents sur notre bateau lors de l'excursion sur la baie, nous sommes les seuls à avoir payé 200 000vnd de plus, ainsi que pour le transfert jusqu'à Ninh Binh.
