九份老街口海景民宿 步行30秒到老街

Big room, lot of light, the bath, the options on TV (HBO max, Netflix, YT), the sandwiches for breakfast

The smell of cigarettes in the corridor to get to the room and sometimes the noises of the pipelines

The view

Toilet is broken have to open lid and yank the chain to flush. The bathroom is in need of remodeling and cleanliness. The owner has not put any money earned to improve the room. Check in was awful it feels like you are in a cheap motel 6 where there is no lobby , reception but a person send you up to your room and you have to pay in cash.

Great location next to old street, but still walkable with luggage

I had the last room available, which came without a window, but was noisy nonetheless. So no view at all and late night noise from within the Homestay. I am not sure if that was the family or other guests. Couldn’t connect to the WiFi, as the network per information couldn’t be found.

The view from our room was gorgeous ! We could put the aircon settings to warm (we stayed during winter). Breakfast was similar to a ham and egg sandwhich with tea provided. Good location, Mrs wang was polite and welcoming.

The hallway window was open all night so my bedroom door kept banging all night long keeping me awake. I tried to close it before bed but it must have been reopened. No soundproofing between rooms
