Seaside Beach Resort

Great location, clean, quiet and comfortable

We paid over $700 for two nights expecting a beach resort, but what we found was far from advertised. The “beach access” was essentially impossible to swim in, and the view of the beach was obstructed. The main bedroom is directly connected to the kitchen without a door, and the bathroom is so cramped that you can’t even sit on the toilet without touching a wall (see photos). You will get 3 in 1 shampoo, shower gel and face wash with no toiletries . One of the pillows had a hair on it. AC is only in kitchen and doesn’t cool off the other bedrooms . WIFI has no connection and privacy is not existing. We raised all these concern with the front desk, but he was neither available nor willing to help. To make matters worse, we received a threatening text from him at check-out claiming we had more guests than allowed. There are many larger, nicer resorts in St. Andrews where guests are treated well and their business is appreciated. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere. Amazing, beautiful little cottage, clean, hospitable hosts beautiful place to stay. Really quaint, homey …. Just loved it, will be back.
