Clean room, absolutely lovely staff who makes you feel at home.

The road to get there and the location are not the greatest but if you need quiet you’ll absolutely love it

The room was large and the view was lovely. The bed was comfortable and had a full mosquito net.

Without air conditioning the room needed a fan but there want one. The noise of the countryside (frogs, cockerels, dogs) was all night and if the heat didn’t keep me awake, the noise did. The location was far more remote than I had realised and was very difficult to get to by car an a small scooter would have struggled with the steep hills.

Amazing place with an extremely good nature view, staff is very kind and helpful, Infact one of the best hospitality, i received. They have scooter for rental at affordable price, in house kitchen as well. Pro Tip- Google Maps are not reliable in Munduk, always use Google translate to talk to local people, don't travel solo late in the evening, be back by 5.30 PM. Gangga staff always there to help you, contact them if you are lost or something. They can help quickly.

There is nothing much, my only wish was. if there was a fan in the room. i know outside temperature is cold, but still a fan in the room is necessary if you are spending time in the afternoon.

We absolutely loved this homestay! The views over the rice terraces are amazing and Ayu cooks the best Balinese food we had in our three week trip around Bali and it's so cheap! The rooms are basic but clean. The the family are so hospitable and welcoming, staying with them was one of our favourite experiences on our trip.

Amazing location in the middle of rice fields. Very friendly family that runs the place, helping us to arrange transportation at a fair price to our next destination. Great food!

The mattress has had its best time and time for replacement. Felt a bit sore when waking up. There was also a rice mill running during the night which made it hard to sleep, but I guess that’s part of the game 😄

The view is incredible, the beds are comfortable, the food is tasty and healthy, but it’s the family who run Gangga Homestay who are the real pull. Friendly, kind and full of good humor. I recommend Gangga Homestay as a simple, quiet retreat, where you will be well looked after.

Leak in the bathroom that kept the floor damp.

I loved the hospitality and the kindness of the hosts. They are a beautiful family and we were warmly welcomed. The room is very nice, the bathroom is basic in Indonesian style. The place is peaceful. Recommended for backpackers and people who are looking for a real experience.
