We actually felt very homely.we felt as though we stayed in our relative"s home. The room was very neat.their hospitality sense was awesome.that made our trip very memorable.

We just loved our stay with Simi and her family :) They took such a great care of us, fulfilled all our requests and even let us leave us our bags over the night as we went on a sunrise hike in Suryanelli. Also they allowed us to stay with them during the Easter, which was so kind of them. The room was clean and spacious, you have everything you might need during your stay (kettle, table, AC etc.) The bed was also big and comfy. The shower was also very clean, you need to tell Simi to turn the hot water before taking a shower. The garden is so lovely and the whole family takes care of it. The location is amazing, close to the bus station to take you to Munnar. Also the family can arrange a scooter for you (just make sure it has yellow plate numbers, as only these are allowed to be rented). The food deserves a special praise, as it was super yummy :) We ate breakfast and dinner, both prepared by the family and served directly to the room. The portions were so big and had such reasonable prices. One time they also ordered a dinner for us, which was also very delicious.

Hospitality is really great and we ordered different kinds of food they prepared everything very well with reasonable prices. Any help we ask them they are immediately helping. They always welcome guests with a great smile. There is Enough space to Park car and Suv and Tempo traveller.

We didn't like the weather April 28 2023 afternoon is very hot around 30°C. But still there is Air Condition in the room that makes us chill.

Stayed at View Valley Homestay for 3 nights. Very friendly host, very clean room and bathroom, nice view in front of the room with few fruit bearing trees. Excellent food arranged by the family. Stay was very pleasant. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling to Munnar.

Rooms don't have individual water heaters. Hot water supply is centralized and hot water isn't available at all times. You need to keep reminding the host for hot water. Very happy with the stay otherwise.

Location is pretty far from Munnar, surrounded by greenery. There are places to eat after 10-15 minutes of walk. There is a mini garden at the property

First of all they did not give us the room that we booked. Saying bluntly that they dont have that room available anymore. Now we had a room with no balcony but had a view to the garden. This garden has a large pit, full of water which was the breeding ground for mosquitoes. Construction was going on at the property which they seemed like that was no big deal. I mean what kind of weirdo gets bothered by the loud noise of construction. The front door knob of the room does not lock unless you put key in it. When turned ON the sink tap in the bathroom, it leaks water all over the place. The room was supposed to have a Futon bed as well, mosquito repellant liquid was plugged in but it was all EMPTY. At night you will hear and see a RAT running in the side crack of the ceiling (false ceiling). It seemed like nobody told them about these things before, or they just don't see these as issues, which for Indians I can believe.

Wonderful location with beautiful terrace in the middle of a green valley. Nice hosts. Big portions of food offered for a great price. Scooter available.
