Excellent value, hot showers, good location, fine garden setting

A bit out of town

I could use the kitchen, boil water, make ginger tea, chill and enjoy the lake

The weather was cold for me. The room was close to the road and could be disturbing while trying to sleep. But that is me since I'm a light sleeper

Location was ok

Hair on the toilet, on the sink, on the bathroom wall, on the bedroom floor. Floor still full of puddles from someone taking a shower. For sure 100% the room was not cleaned after the previous guest. The blanket was smelly, surely hasnt been washed in weeks. Walls all mouldy. Plastic cup/toothbrush holder was mouldy inside. Faucet is detached from the sink. Water heater was switched off when i arrived. I wrote all this down on google translate, including asking to change the room, and showed it to the owner, he went into the room and switch on the water heater. He gave me the thumbs up, i pointed at the dirt everywhere and the mouldy plastic cup, he took it, brought a clean glass, started laughing and tried to shake my hand. I pulled my hand back, he laughed even harder and walked away. If you like smelly dirty hotels and completely oblivious and ignorant owners, this is the perfect place for you. Do not be fooled by the good reviews like i was.

I could have slept all morning... the quietest homestay I've had the pleasure of staying with in Vietnam... The owner is very welcoming and a few restaurants nearby...

As most of the rooms were empty, the personal upgraded us to a bigger room without charging us. They also rent motorbike for a fair price. The athmostphere is really peacefull. Free tea and cofee available!

The room smelled a bit humide, but I guess in Vietnam during the rainy season that's a given.

Except for the unexpected guests, a few ants, I've got nothing to complain about. Quiet and nice little place. They also offered free tea and coffee!
