Mountain and peace

Shatams hospitality was absolutely phenomenol! Right from the start he was thinking about our comfort! He made sure the man who picked us up from the train station (Gaurav, who is also lovely if you get to meet him!) spoke English and stayed with us for all our travel/taxi needs throughout the trip. He welcomed us when we arrived, he explained everything perfectly. My Mum and I were a bit ill and he went to the shop to get us some honey and lemon. He is just a wonderful and very helpful host! The b and b itself is in a wonderful relaxing location within a 10 minute walk to some local shops where you can pick up eggs, bread, milk etc. You can easily get a taxi into shimla (takes about 25 mins). The view from our apartment (we stayed in one of the two room apartments which has its own kitchen and living room) and from the terrace was beautiful. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a kettle, fridge and induction hob for our convenience. For the price, this was just incredible!!

Nothing at all. The only time we were a little uncomfortable was when we needed to shower because it was a little cold. But, Shatam was brilliant even then because he offered us a heater for our rooms, he supplied cosy blankets, and the geezer heated up the water within half an hour.

Nicely located, little un-easiness to get access but the road is to be constructed. Well equipped kitchen. Rooms are spacious and decent We enjoyed our stay..

Everything from view to service offered by the host Mr. Santam. I will totally recommend everyone to stay in his homestay.

Everything was just perfect, so there is nothing I did not like but I would say that people without their own convenience for traveling will find it difficult to stay there as it is roughly at 7-8 km distance from Mall road. So book this homestay if u have your own car or bike to travel.

Lovely experience at Mountain and peace Shimla. The rooms are well maintained. The hotel overlooks the majestic and serene valley which is breathtaking to look especially during sunset. Shantam and his staff is very quick in assisting to all of your queries. Food is cost effective and is very fresh and tasty.We will recommend it as it is best value for money as per price point

The hotel staff was very courteous and was very quick in responding to any request. The location is very relaxing. We enjoyed a lot here with delicious food and neat and clean rooms. Good place to stay with good vibes.

Good mountain view but little bit Far from city centre

Mountain view, nice rooms, good service and staff behaviour. Good food.

It's away from city centre but worth if you like peaceful stay. Anyway, you have to take taxi from going anywhere in Shimla or nearby places.

Location was awesome .Staff was very professional .I had awesome stay there,peaceful and closed to nature
