Simple Walk Guest House 小公寓

We had a wonderful experience during our stay in Tainan. The host was incredibly kind and generous — we were even given a free room upgrade! The beds were very comfortable, the room was cool and pleasant, and everything was perfectly clean. What really made the difference was the host’s hospitality. He welcomed us with delicious fresh fruit, gave us great recommendations on what to see and where to eat, and even helped us call a taxi when we needed it. Truly a lovely person who made us feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Absolutely recommended!

It is in a great location, with a clean and comfortable bed, room, bathroom, and common area. It is close to Food Street and within walking distance of museums, attractions, and a train station. The host, Paul, is amazing. He was so sweet and even dropped me off at the train station in his scooter after checking out.

The most friendly owner we have ever seen, patiently introduce useful information about Tainan in English, even preparing some fruit for my girlfriend after finishing the visiting. Also the friendly price, nice location etc. too many pros to book this hostel for travelers to Tainan.

the windows of the front room is a bit poor on the sound isolation, can hear the traffic outside during the night.

Overall a really pleasant experience. Paul was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who travels to Tainan.

Location was awesome and host was very welcoming. Comfortable. Very value for money.

The stairway was narrow but this can’t be helped as it’s an old building. Just be extra careful when you use it.

I like the room with the view,open window,moskitonet on windows,fridge in kitchen,boiler in kitchen, dryer for clothes,bath showers were good with window in it.soapes were good.rooms were big,good.We got food ,fruite served every day though food not included.God service,tour around town, activities,good kitchen.possibilities to see museums,dutch house, restaurants vegetarian neer by.People are very helpful here and in guisthouses here.Food is delicious here.

I had differculty finding guist house and finding my way around Tainan.People don't speake much English, which gives me challenges here finding my way around town.It would help with a fysiocally map, business card to show people,when your looking for way bake to hotels, guisthouses.The stairs up to room is a challenge,when you have 2 big suitcases,like I have.One of the wheels brook off my new suitcase.That is a challenge for me to fix that now. The pollution in streets are surprising and disserpointing,when they have all that separates systems of garbich in houses.No flushing toilet paper.Its a bit confusing.Why is the streets cleaning not a priority here like in homes?. .

The owner is very helpful (not always on-site, but available by messaging when not).
