Blaney house 21

Blaney House was a lovely stay. Lesley was such a nice host. The house is clean and the single room felt very homely. A massive TV and good WiFi. A comfy bed. so peaceful and quiet. I slept like a log. The house is also home to a gorgeous gentle elderly dog and two lovely cats. One of the cats visited me in my room which was a real novelty. Leakey made me a nice cup of tea. The room overlooks a lovely modern garden. Easy parking outside home 🏡. Shared bathroom right outside room with no awkward clashes. Great location for both Portland Student Village and The Freeman for appointments. I would definitely stay again.

Bed is quite soft. Didn't bother me personally but I know some people like a harder mattress.

Very understanding host, did not return to the guest house until 1am following a Bruce Springsteen concert in Sunderland, massive delays on the metro but this was not a problem at all. Lovely room and made a new cat friend..

Too much noise from very early on. And the cat got into my room more than once, setting off my allergies.

Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended
