Cottage en-suite room with private lounge

Lovely cottage everything you need ,close to the town & beach the cottage very clean and well thought out

The stairs

Basic amenities all worked well, good shower, good tea and coffee station, good wifi, easy to enter. Host was also prompt and helpful with our requests, which was appreciated.

Nothing worth noting really.

A quiet location, ideally situated within walking distance of the town centre. The cottage is well equipped.

There are no improvements we could suggest

Near the town. Parking for one car. Good size bedroom and lounge. Good shower. Milk provided .Thank you. Comfy bed.

Kitchenette was very small and not very clean. Both kettles,one upstairs and one in the kitchen,were full of limescale. The toaster tray was full and quite grubby. I didn’t use it. I descaled the kettle in the kitchen myself. .Most of the surfaces and trays had not been cleaned. As there was no oven a microwave was provided but no dishes for the appliance. A couple of pasta dishes would have helped. Also no bread board or chopping board.

Comfortable cottage for a short stay. Good communication from the owner. Sitting out area lovely, parking good. Reasonable walking distance into Bridport.

Kitchen facilities unconventional but no problem whatsoever for a short stay.

We made a mistake and booked the wrong day. On arrival the host would only talk to us on the intercom and not speak face to face. He was unhelpful and with his attitude would not consider booking there again. Hospitality it was not

I had a wonderful stay here. It’s a lovely, cosy cottage and I felt completely at home. It has such a welcoming feel, very comfy bed and good shower. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
