Vila Melisa

Lovely hosts and locals, lovely island with breathtaking beaches and trekking routes without overcrowded tourists the island kept the authentic vibes. The accomodation was super close to the port and to the center. Will return back.

Island Vrgada is nice small spot for the nature getaway. The beaches aren't plenty and they were pretty crowded, with young parents with babies being the dominant. The accomodation was decent.

There could have been toilet paper or at least we should have been notified that we need to bring our own.

We recommend! Vila Melisa has a very convenient location. 4 minutes from the ferry. Up to 10 minutes to the famous beach and also to 2 more beaches. 3 minutes to the store. 7 minutes shortcut to the church of the holy Trinity. No matter what room you book there is a shared terrace with a seaview. It was clean when we arrived. Our room with a private bathroom was a bit old but bright, nice, and clean. Vrgada has a few restaurants but we brought our own food - there is a refrigerator in the room and a shared kitchen in Vila Melisa. For a long-term stay bring your own kitchen tools, cups and plates. If you don't have the, you can ask Mr. Mirko(the host). The staff were very nice and helpful. For communication with Mirko text him in WhatsApp. Use Google translate: he speaks Croatian and German. Only one small store on the island which is enough if you are prepared and brought food with yourself. (Big supermarkets are in Pakostane which is not too bad - it is a 20 minute ride by ferry) The WiFi is weak. You won't be able to work from here.

A wonderful spot in Vrgada that was perfect for our 1 night stay. Accomodation was basic but it had a beautiful view from it's outside seating area and was close to ferry, restaurants and a sunset viewpoint. The owner spoke Croatian & German but Google translate helped with our communications.

The room is small and doesn't feel clean. Bed had a funky smell. Kitchenette is outside of the room in a small common area and doesn't have any dishes for cooking. Could maybe be ok for 2-3 days stay but not more.
