Comfortable beds, nice terrace, spacious kitchen available. I recommend.

Great location, near the supermarkets and short walk to the lagoon and square. The terrace was lovely to eat on, the kitchen was well equipped and the room was spacious. Zayed was very responsive and welcoming, would recommend his boat tour. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay for Bacalar this is a great option.

The room and bathroom is a bit dated but this is what we expected. The sheets were quite hard.

Great place to stay in Bacalar ...v clean & the terrace is a lovely place to hang out. Great location too - lots of restaurants around & only cpl minutes walk to the lagoon. Highly recommend.

Zayad was exceptionally kind and helpful. They provide water and excellent help if you need anything.

It is in Mexico, so of course the dogs bark sometimes at night.

There was not really a good way to organize the groceries we bought! But the owner is fixing that he said. We had multiple great conversations with the owner!

Clean and comfortable. Good communication from the owner. Well set up kitchen to cook your own meals. Good hot water in the shower. Overall, a relaxed and enjoyable stay

Great location within a short walk of everything you need including the ADO station. Kitchen was well equipped. Room was comfortable and clean. Communication was great and access was easy despite us being late. All for a great price! 👌

My wife and I spent 2 weeks here.. While the room itself was not exceptional, it did have good wifi, a/c, and working shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable with good quality sheets. The place is Also very secure.. What really made the place special was the large shared 2nd floor balcony overlooking the street and the excellently equipped and maintained kitchen with a large fridge. Also on the first floor is a long dining table and a front room with couches. The other thing that impressed me was just how clean the common areas were kept with all the floors and stairs mopped every day and the kitchen cleaned and everything put in its place. Think of it as 4 separate living spaces in a shared home where everyone is responsible for keeping the kitchen area clean and being thoughtful of the other guests. Finally a real bonus was having the town market and a grocery store 2 minutes away.

Bacalar is now on the tourist radar and is changing quickly in anticipation of the future opening of the Mayan train station near town. More people, more noise and not surprising, in the last year prices have gone up everywhere on everything from restaurants and hotels to corner stores and lagoon cruises. Also there are very few public entrances to the lagoon or cenotes where you do not have to pay
