Remote, clean and excellent value

The host July is an absolute star! She is super friendly, cooked delicious Indonesian food, introduced us to her family, gave us good recommendations about Senaru, brought us fresh fruits from the garden and invited us to go and see the sunset with her! The room is basic, comfortable bed, HOT shower (much needed after Rinjani), towels, and nice terrace.

Everything was perfect!! Well done!

A beautiful well placed location for both the waterfalls and the Rinjani hike. The staff were brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed and breakfast and fresh water each morning. We also organized our Mount Rinjani hike through them which was super convenient! And an amazing experience! We had the room for the hike as well so we're able to keep our extra luggage there while we hiked.

Whilst everything was incredibly lovely this place was definitely on the more budget side, and quite basic. There was unfortunately only one electric outlet in our room. And there were several quite loud mosques surrounding which could sometimes wake us up early in the morning.

Good basic private room and ensuite in a remote area close to the waterfalls and not much else. Very kind and friendly host. Cooked meals for us and did our laundry. Delicious breakfast and dinner.

Many things are listed, such as: a fan, soundproofing, live music/performance, snack bar, breakfast in the room, daily housekeeping, and room service, but these are not present at the property. There were holes in the walls on the front and back of the property, so it was not soundproof. The place to eat was very quiet and definitely no entertainment or happy hour. The host will cook you breakfast and dinner but no restaurant or snack bar to eat for the rest of the day as listed in the facilities. Booked a room with a fan, and when we arrived, there was no fan. When we asked, she said she said OK only as it is not busy. She took one from another room. It came across as if she did us a favour when that's what we had booked and paid for. Also, the WiFi doesn't reach the rooms only in the seating area.

Close to the waterfalls

The room itself was not that special, but i came here for the Rinjani hike. So only stayed for one night at the cottage. Staff was super helpful with arranging the trip, picking me up and transferring me to my next stay. Also; when i arrived late and was hungry they gave me food etc. Super nice people! Thank you :)

The cottage itself was not very fancy. I missed something to put some trash in.
