I was expecting a leafy out of town experience but was bemused when dropped off in a Victorian terraced house in bohemian part of Bristol. An attic room with en suite suited my needs but after expecting a clubroom vibe was left scratching my head as to why it was called a "Retreat"! It was a b'n'b without the breakfast. My preconception kept overriding the reality. Pleasant stay but if your selling it as a Ferraro Roche please include the Hazelnuts! The Carribbean Restaurant around the corner saved the evening. Amazing produce delivered with a welcoming smile. And a complimentary bottle of beer to boot! Sweet!
