Kapri Balinese House is the best place to stay in Ubud! Undoubtedly the best! Stay there and feel the warm welcome of the Balinese family. Mr. Kapri, his wife Desak Kapri, their younger daughter Jasmine and their two dogs are the best company we had there. The room is best with a spacious room, bathroom, and storage! The nature vibe is so serene! We will come again!

Welcome drink was delicious. If you have your own transportation, want something quiet, out of the way, beautifully decorated at amazing value, this is your place. If you want to be conveniently located in the middle of town you'll need to find something else.

Room was very large and beautiful. Cold a/c. Excellent attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable. There were nightstands, lamps, and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Room also had a couch, coffee table, full length mirror, and wardrobe. Large bathroom with good counter space and storage. Excellent water pressure and hot water. Peaceful location in a quiet neighborhood. We extended our stay from 2 nights to 4 nights. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Husband Ketut Kapri also has a guide business and drove us for 2 full days to see temples and waterfalls and monkeys. His Bedugul tour was especially good. Highly recommended!! He also drove us from Ubud to Lovina after we checked-out. We learned a lot about Balinese daily life from him. It was a wonderful experience.

Location is a bit far if you don't have a scooter. It was a 30-40 minute walk to the center of Ubud. You can take the Monkey Forest Road cut through though which is quite scenic. Sage is an excellent vegan restaurant a short walk away. You can also use Grab if you need a taxi.

The stay at Kapri house was perfect. The room is beautiful just like in the pictures. The hosts are lovely and very helpful. The shower is nice and hot, the room is extremely clean and the A/C works perfectly. The accommodation is close to everything you need. We walked to the sacred monkey forest. We couldn’t recommend staying here enough. Just go ahead and book. Best place we’ve stayed in Asia.

The room is just superb, everything is perfect about this property. Peaceful neighbourhood, welcoming and polite owners, the facilities are all well maintained and on par to good standards

Room is exceptionally clean, Beautiful Balinese art room decor combine with modern amenities. Bed is super comfort with 4 pillows which is rare find in any hotel room. The owner is Balinese family, Pak Kapri and Ibu Ayu with 2 lovely children. They are very hospitable, doing their best to provide our needs. Really feel like home and definitaly would come back.
