Room was spacious and comfortable bed was very comfortable Owner was very friendly, accommodating and helped us organise our trip to Gili T Breakfast was very nice! we loved the pet dog aswell staff were also very friendly!

Beautiful homestay with a great value close to the main part of Ubud, with lots of restaurants and markets close by. the hosts were so friendly and accommodating and helped us book events in town and coordinate transportation to our next stop. Hendra’s father is very kind and we had great chats each morning after he would make us a delicious breakfast and fresh fruit. thank you for your hospitality!

This property belongs to a very kind family. Gusti gave us great tips on what to do and what to see and helped us find a tailor and even picked up the stuff for us. He also helped with booking transport for a friend. It’s great value for your money. It’s nothing luxurious but for the price its very comfortable. Location is very central, the garden is beautiful, delicious homemade breakfast (something different everyday), cutest dog, comfortable bed and most important very friendly owner who will help you with everything you need.

The bathroom is not the best but there is hot water.

The price is very good but if you are looking for a place with a decent WIFI, this is NOT at all. The worst WIFI I had in 3 weeks in UBUD. The room doesn't have window and since the door is made by wood, the room is totally in dark. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and the dog55 is very cute.

Exceptionally comfortable large bed and bedding, excellent value for money - very friendly owner who organised a 5* transfer for us from the airport! Spacious rooms with lots of character, tea and coffee facilities also provided in the room. Very tranquil and peaceful location and generally a stunning Homestay! Fantastic breakfast cooked by the owners father, fresh fruit provided which is all grown in the gardens and lovely tea and coffee. We couldn’t recommend this homestay enough and would highly recommend staying here! Thank you for a lovey stay

Gusty is a never-ending source of generosity. Sharing a few moments with him was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had in Bali. Places are made by people and Gusti and his family meet all the requirements you can find anywhere in the world.

breakfast, location, cleanliness of the room

Hendra house is one of the nicest places we have stayed and cannot recommend it enough. The host here was extremely hospitable and goes above and beyond for his guests, he cooks breakfast himself for you every morning and cooks something different each day so you can try a range of traditional Indonesian food + a plate of fresh fruit and tea/coffee. The rooms were very clean and the bed would be made for you every day with new fresh towels too. There was also a water tank that you could use as much water as you need from and facilities included making tea/coffee in your room. There were no issues with bugs and the bed was extremely comfy. If you stay, you will also get the chance to meet Piko, who is arguably the cutest and most well natured dog we have ever met, and he would always put a smile on our face each day. It is only a 7 minute walk to Ubud market so is a great location. Having stayed at the same time as the poor review we completely disagree about it smelling or being dirty, it was lovely to sit outside to have breakfast. If we come back to Ubud we would stay here again and would love to see Piko grown up.
