Krisna Homestay

The outside area and pool are were absolutely amazing. You feel like walking into a little, green village and I was amazed to see it was right next to a rice field - you could have never guessed just from looking at it from the outside! The staff was friendly and they had some drinks etc. on offer, which was a plus!

The room was quite small and there was no desk for example. The lighting could also be better. It may have been just the location of my room (close to the common kitchen) but unfortunately I woke up to the sounds of people/staff in the morning so the soundproofing is not ideal. The wifi connection could have also worked better.

The best stay ever. I wanted to spend time alone and this stay was the best choice. It’s in the center of Canggu and very quiet. They have a small balcony and free tea&coffee you can have everyday. There is the best local restaurant outside across the street of sushi place and also small Indian stool opens until 3-4am. It’s surrounded by western restaurants too. What I like to most is the swimming pool. It was located in the middle of rice fields. I could hear birds chirping all the time. Nice and smily staffs. Nothing to complain about.

Perfect location and staff were really friendly and helpful. Aircon was really powerful and perfect to use to keep the room cool. I felt really safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler here.

The bed was really uncomfortable and was only given one pillow and a thin sheet. It made for a really unpleasant stay. The main light is a bright white blinding light which made the place feel really hostile.

The shower was so very good. Location was good. Staff were fantastic and did anything you asked. The room was cleaned the second you left the room everyday. Pool and the pool area was brilliant. Water was like a bath.

Bed wasn’t comfy unfortunately. There needed to be a thicker blanket/duvet. Maybe some shampoo provided would have been a nice touch, but I’m splitting hairs with that.

So this is actually the first time I write a recommendation because this Homestay really deserves. Super friendly and heartfelt stuff (which is cleaning every day!). You‘ve got all you need there, a very big pool which is a nice spot to relax offside the traffic at the road (like a little refuge :). Two kitchens, comfortable beds, a big shower. Beach is 5-10 min walk along the road and many Cafes/Restaurants are very close.

Towels get a little smelly fast if leaving them in bathroom (you can also let them dry on Balcony). But I guess that’s normal in Indonesia & simply ask for a new one was never a problem!
