The location is close to the beach

It’s way too dirty and smelly for that price. In other places in bali you get a decent room for that amount of money. We were disappointed as the room was moldy and the smell disgusting. It was was full of mosquitoes and no mossy net. Bathroom wasn’t clean aswell.

This place is within easy walking distance of one of the most perfect beaches I've ever spent time on (although you do get stung with an entry tariff). The homestay itself is within a lush natural setting and is incredibly good value for money. Strong wifi is also a bonus. Most particularly, I'm much obliged to Mr Diana for taking time out from a holiday to shuttle me around to all the places I wanted to see on his scooter and for sharing his wisdom about Bali. I felt incredibly taken care of.

The bathroom might feel a bit rough and ready for some guests, but it's totally fine for this very reasonable price.

Le petit déjeuner était bon et l emplacement agréable. Pecari se situe dans le vrai Bali ,juste après Candidasa. On peut y dîner car la cuisine est bonne.

La tranquilidad y la atención del personal

El colchón muy duro y sucio. La habitación olía mucho a humedad. El baño sin espejo, el lavabo cuando abrías el grifo perdía agua y te mojabas los pies. Al ducharte como es muy pequeño se mojaba todo ya que no hay plato de ducha. Salimos por la noche a cenar y estaba todo cerrado. Tardas 15'' en coche para ir a Virgin beach. No hay piscina

Der Besitzer Diana war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat uns eine Liste mit naheliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten erstellt und darüber informiert. Pondok Diana umgeben wunderschöne Palmen und andere saftig grüne Pflanzen. Zu einem schönen Strand ist es mit einem Scooter nicht so weit.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Es gab ein Bett, ein Plastikschrank, zwei Stühle und einen Tisch. In einer Ecke war eine komplett leere Kochnische. Das WC war sehr seltsam aufgebaut. Das Klo ist verkehrt zur der Eingangstür Rechts in der Ecke installiert. Es gab auch noch eine Dusche in diesem sehr kleinem Raum ohne Trennung/Duschvorhang zum Klo. Das Waschbecken befand sich im Schlafzimmer neben der Kochnische. Es war sehr klein und ohne Spiegel. Es gab keine Möglichkeit seine Sachen in der Dusche aufzuhängen bzw. abzulegen. Wir haben uns bewusst für eine sehr einfache Unterkunft entschieden, da wir für die Zeit des Aufenthalts viele Ausflüge geplant haben. Also Schlafplatz und eine Dusche waren die wichtigsten Kriterien bei der Auswahl der Unterkunft. Doch das haben wir so nicht erwartet. Nach einer Nacht haben wir den Aufenthalt (geplant 1 Woche) abgebrochen. Es tut uns wirklich Leid aber da muss an der Unterkunft noch einiges gemacht werden, um wenigstens das Nötigste den Gästen anzubieten. Update (11.09.2024) nach dem Kommentar des Besitzers auf unsere Bewertung. Lieber Herr Diana, nach dem wir von Ihnen ohne Grund beleidigt wurden, möchten wir kurz etwas loswerden. 1. Wir haben von unserem Zimmer bei der Buchung kaum Bilder gesehen. Vor allem keine von dem WC / Dusche / leere Küche. 2. Wir haben bei Ihnen eine Nacht übernachtet und hatten uns insgesamt höchstens 15 Minuten unterhalten und auch uns für alles bedankt. Jetzt stellen Sie uns als reiche, unhöfliche und unfreundliche Europäer dar. (Laut den Kommentaren von Ihnen zu anderen Bewertungen machen Sie dies öfters, sobald jemand Ihre Unterkunft, Einrichtung oder die Sauberkeit negativ bewertet). 3. Bewertungen von Kunden sollten dazu beitragen, bessere Wahl bei der Buchung zu treffen. Für Sie als Gastgeber Verbesserungsvorschläge zu erhalten. We came here tired from long and hard travelling and found the best place to rest up and relax that we could have hoped for. Pondok Diana is a homestay surrounded by fields, a leisurely 15 minute walk to Virgin Beach and near a traditional village. Our room was large, bed very comfortable, plenty of space to place and store things. We could see the sunrise from our room upstairs and sit on the balcony to enjoy the peace and quiet. Breakfast which was included in our rate was either banana pancake or vegetable omelette with tea or coffee. Diana's daughter makes the very best nasi goreng for lunch or dinner if you feel hungry. We had some great conversations with Diana, our host, who explained about Balinese beliefs and customs. On one of the days we did a day tour with him to visit a selection of sights that he had suggested and on our final day Diana took us to the airport. Thank you Diana and family for your hospitality. We would stay here again if we came back to Bali.
