Barrymor Twin, Family and Double Room

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le lieu de notre séjour. Accueil chaleureux.

Casa muy agradable, en medio del campo, muy cerca en coche del pueblo, que tiene un buen supermercado y muchos sitios para comer. Habitación muy bonita, amplia, con vistas al campo. En la habitación hay una kettle, tazas, cucharas, sobres de té y nescafé, azúcar y galletas de cortesía, y botellitas de agua. Aparcamiento en la entrada de la casa. Para gente con movilidad reducida se puede llegar en coche hasta la puerta de entrada y creo que hay habitaciones en la planta baja (nosotros estuvimos en la de arriba).

La limpieza era mejorable. En conjunto se veía limpio, pero había pelos en lavabo y bañera, y una de las tazas estaba sucia, tenía restos de café.

The room was clean, bright and a fair size.

There was no welcome or in person contact from the resident hosts although they were in the house. A phone number for queries was noted, with the Rules, in the room. A man I believe was a host was outside twice but never acknowledged me. (I could be wrong, but he was gardening etc..) My friends were staying at a distance, so as a solo traveler for one night arriving around 5:30pm, some advice on where to go for a light meal and a walk would have been appreciated. However, it felt very impersonal & cold. It was quite busy with what seemed to be long stay customers in the ajoining premises. The toiletries were inadequate. The mattress seemed to be from the budget range.

The place was clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, and the self check-in process was very easy. Highly recommended.
