The house is beside the river and surrounded by trees, which feels blissful.

There is nothing much about dislike.

Most beautifully located on the banks of the river, the simple 2 bedroom, quaint cottage transported me back to the past. The sound of the river flowing by, the chirping of the birds and the crickets was very refreshing. The hostess was very accommodating, the breakfast simple but tasty. There was a pleasant walk by the riverside. It was fairly close to the main road. They were able to arrange good transport at short notice.

The commode and toilet seat were slightly old. Being tall I could spot the dust on the high places and shelves which get missed unless one looks for it.

the location was amazing ..it was a traditional home on riverside with lot’s of trees.. easy to reach from town and there is 2 famous temples nearby kumaranallur and etttumanoor was a plus point for us also

Superbly located traditional riverside Keralan bungalow located on farm smallholding. Adjacent bathing ghat leading to the river. Tucked away in the forest but only 10 mins walk to shops & restaurants and 3 km from rail station. Calm and serene location, hosted by friendly couple who provided delicious Keralan food. Bags of space including generous hallway, equipped kitchen diner and good sized bedroom with adjoining bathroom. Effective mosquito screens ensured a good nights sleep. Air con unnecessary as all rooms equipped with rotating fans.

Directions in Malayalam would have been helpful to show the auto rickshaw driver.

Thé garden, the riverside location, the comfortable mattress, the lovely bathroom, and the delicious breakfast.

The house was quite difficult to find. Perhaps showing the address also in Malayalam would make it easier for rickshaw and taxi drivers to find the way.
