Very spacious, manager was very courteous. He helped us with places and temples to visit around and also helped arrange an auto. Grateful to him

Room wifi was a bit shaky. It would help if that alone is improved.

I stayed in this hotel for five days in January 2023. For visiting ancient temples in this part of Tamilnadu, Kumbakonam is a good central point for stay and many temples in Kumbakonam, Tanjavur and the area around can be seen during day trips. Thirumalai Homestay provided a good option for staying at affordable costs. The rooms are neat and clean. All arrangements for transportation are taken care of. Home cooked delicious food is served. A homely atmosphere can be felt. Overall it has been a comfortable stay and served my purpose.

My expectations were met

A serene atmosphere, away from the hussle of Kumbakonam by 8 km. You can reach by by-pass road to swamimalai avoiding all traffic

Food preparation is very homely Space for exercise available, calm place

Spacious, may be safe because under the control of the owner, parking (though it is roadside)

In a remote location. 2 km from temple. Toilet seat covers are not proper. Taps are tight. Bed spreads/ blankets are not upto the expectations
