INThe place totally justify the word ‘Home Stay‘ A home away from home.I online booked the stay for one night but din’t feel like moving to another place and end up staying here for five. Love,Care,every possible help and tasty food😊 Being a solo female traveler what more I could have asked from an unknown state. They serve Veg food also. Place and food - Value for Money. ININI recently had the pleasure of staying at Maple Homestay, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the adorable and cozy nature of the house. The host Christi was incredibly sweet and hospitable, making me feel right at home and offering helpful tips and recommendations for things to do in Kohima. The room I stayed in was impeccably neat and tidy, with all of the basic amenities provided, especially those warm blankets. The food served at Maple Homestay is truly something special. It was clear that the host had put a lot of thought and care into preparing the meals, and I felt lucky to have had the opportunity to taste such authentic cuisine. For solo backpackers like myself, Maple Homestay is a perfect choice. The homestay has a warm and friendly atmosphere, plus, the host's helpfulness and willingness to share local knowledge make it easier to explore Kohima. I will definitely be returning in the future!

INThe host(s) were quite friendly and welcoming and didn't hesitate to answer queries we had related to sightseeing, among other things. Rates are reasonable, and the place is not that far from the main road Home cooked food ( charged ) which we opted for on some days was nice, so a + for that.

DEIt was incredibly nice with Christi and Xabi. I had a nice room with enough blankets for the cool nights. The food they cooked for me was super tasty as was the daily breakfast. You feel like a member of the family right from the start. In the evenings I often sat in front of the fireplace with Xabi and one day he took me on a great and interesting day trip to the Hornbill Festival site which was great. There is a very clear recommendation for this homestay from my side. It was really SUPERNICE! Christi and Xabi keep up the good work. Thanks for everything

Maple Homestay is a homestay in the true sense of the word. - The owners are warm, genuinely interested and very enthusiastic. They look after their guests. - There's a traveller's vibe. The owners and guests love travelling. - Christie makes the best chai and aloo paratha of the whole North East (and beyond). Xavi is a wonderful cook, too. I loved their food. - The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. - It was nearly Christmas (11-13 Dec.) and the homestay was beautifully decorated. Wauw!
