Green View

Nice property.

We had a lovely stay at Green View. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and the room was lovely with a great balcony to relax on - we even spotted some monkeys from the balcony! It was a great location, very near to the reserve and lots of restaurants. The hosts helped us to book activities and helped out with transport too. Would absolutely recommend Green View

Good location

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful property in Thekkady. One of the biggest advantages of the location is its convenience — shops, restaurants, and cultural event centers are all nearby and easily walkable, making it very easy to explore the area without any hassle. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay very relaxing. The staff members were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help whenever needed. A special mention to the owner, Suresh, who was extremely supportive throughout our stay. He helped us arrange show tickets and also shared a lot of useful information and local tips about the place, which made our trip even better. Another highlight of the property is the beautiful green open space filled with plants and trees, creating a calm and refreshing atmosphere. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Thekkady.

Rooms were clean and spacious with a big balcony, the host was very polite and helpful. He gave us the right advice and even got us discounts on different activities. We had a wonderful experience and would love to visit this property again. 10/10

It was perfect

I loved everything about this very specisl place. Lovely room with trees in a beautiful garden near the balcony which provided a lovely relaxation seating to enjoy nature. Wake up to birdsong in the garden and the forest behind. The lovely and kind host Sunesh made this a home from home for me. Warm hospitality, breakfast served with a smile by the lovely ladies who seem very happy to work there. I have travelled a lot in India snd Asia. This is definitely one place I will return to. Kumily itself is a charming friendly town and I felt very welcome and safe here. Was fortunate enough to be here for an annual Hindu festival which Suresh kingly accompanied me to. Virsually stunning floats with drumming and dancing and locals and tourists alike enjoying the pagent. Worth visiting for this alone. Its also a spiritual experience. There is also the Perivale Tiger Reserve with safaris and other events, evening shows, amazing food and a great climate. Kumily has it all and Green View is the place to experience it

We loved staying at Green View. We had garden-facing rooms, which felt very private. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is a large covered space behind the rooms with hammocks for yoga, chilling, etc. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful - we enjoyed sitting outside our rooms watching the monkeys, squirrels and birds in the trees. The family who run this homestay are extremely friendly and gave us good advice on activities in the park. They also helped us out when we had difficulty finding the start to the Bird Song Trail. The location is great given its close proximity to the entrance to the national park and the park's parking ground (for buses to the boating and Nature Trail activities). Overall, we loved our stay there and were sad to leave.
