Gazing Moon Homestay

I could spend 2 very peaceful nights at the Gazing Moon Homestay. It is the perfect place for healing and recovering. The family is super welcoming, they make amazing local food, they care about their guests in a very comfortable way. The rooms are very clean, spacious with big windows and mosquitonets. It is a pet friendly place, even their dog Simba was welcoming my dog. The best part for me was the big wild garden, full of fruits trees, flowers and so much love for nature. I could find so much peace sitting under those trees, thank you so much for sharing that space filled with positive energy. The homestay is in a quiet part of the village, its only a short and easy walk down to the market and the river. From there you can easily take a local bus to Manali or to Parvati Valley.

The property hosts - Shivam and his father were extremely helpful and hospitable. We had some extra helmets along with our bikes and they agreed to keep it safely until we return from our journey. The rooms are very clean and well maintained and the property has an amazing view of the valley.

I was coming in late at night from the bus and the hosts were super responsive when messaging, they even picked me up when I needed it. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed had big comfy blankets, and a lovely view of their garden and valley. In the morning I had a tasty breakfast, and the host showed me around their blooming orchard of plums, apples, pomegranates..I was a bit disappointed that I am not there at the right time for fruit! The walk to the bus stand is short and mostly winds through beautiful little farms and orchards. A great peaceful little stop on your way to the mountains!

Service is good. The owner of the hotel is very polite, helpful and attentive to our needs.

The location is not easily accessible.

Nice quiet area with spacious courtyard, which was perfect for parking out motorbikes and doing some maintenance. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Host was super friendly and helpful. Definitely will visit again if i pass through Bhuntar.
