My recent stay at this hidden gem of a hotel was an absolute delight. Nestled in the heart of nature, it offered a peace and serenity that is hard to find. Surrounded by Lake Titicaca and the soothing sounds of the wilderness, every moment was a refreshing escape from the hustle of daily life. The family running the hotel were the epitome of hospitality. Their warmth and genuine kindness made me feel like a part of their family, not just a guest. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, adding a personal touch to their service that was truly heartwarming. This hotel is not just a place to stay; it's a haven of tranquility, where the beauty of nature meets the warmth of wonderful hosts. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Nothing could have been better. Thank you Oliver, Sebastiana, Diana and little Adele.

The opportunity to stay with a very genuine young local couple in a splendid position overlooking Lake Titicaca, on the lovely Llachon peninsula, which is as yet refreshingly untouristy/uncommercial and offers beautiful walks with superb views across the lake and islands. The accommodation is clean and simple, but remarkably has good wifi (which means you can communicate with Google translate if you don't speak Spanish!). The food prepared by Oliver's wife Sebastian's is wholesome and tasty. Oliver will take you to visit any of the islands or the Chicuito peninsula opposite by 'boat taxi' for S150 return or S130 one way, or you can catch a public boat to Amantani at around 11am each morning. Arriving in Llachon from Puno was easy - a collectivo to Capachico and from there a connecting collectivo to Llachon. All for a few soles. Good communication with Oliver by WhatsApp. If you receive a message in French just write back in English (if you don't speak Spanish) as it's all done by Google translate anyway (Oliver and Sebastian's only speak Spanish)

Lakeside location is easy to get to and yet feels like a secluded little spot. There's a boat pier nearby, the host can help with onward boat journeys to the islands. The room is clean and comfortable, the hot water is a great amenity. Meals can be eaten at the location for a good price. There is also limited WiFi, unbelievably for the area. Hosts are friendly and happy to help plan. Expect a peaceful, rustic and simple setting.

Peaceful retreat by the lake away from the tourists and noise. Oliver and his family are sweet and helpful and cook healthy meals at an additional cost of $6 per meal. Oliver also arranged for me to catch the boat back to puno instead of the collectivos and I ended up on a day tour of the other islands which was sweet for a cheap price! Beds are comfy, wifi works pretty well for locatiom

The shower, warm water didn't last longer than 30 seconds.

Beautiful place with very nice owners. Oliver and Sebastiana are doing everything for your stay to be the best possible. And of course the view is amazing.

The blankets were not very fresh.
