Owners very nice, great look above town. Solid breakfast. Nice simple experience.

Our initial room had no water in the shower. We could switch to the bigger one, which had a nicer balcony & view and more space. Water pressure was still very low, but worked. Simple and aged bathroom.

Great view from the balcony, big room and super welcoming staff (Fanaka & Rita), who supported us with the organisation of transport options. Good breakfast and also nice dinner! The Baby Cat was super cute:)

It would be great if there were a spot on the terrace of this lovely property for breakfast and/or dinner. The mattress was a bit worn. Additionally, having more storage options in the rooms for clothes or other belongings would be a valuable addition for travelers living out of their backpacks.

Staff were very friendly and helpful with travel advice. Good communication. The location was beautiful.

One of the toilets didn't work and the bathroom door didn't close properly. The second bathroom was good

Fanaka is a great host and the home stay is maintained very well. Everything is super clean and the small apartments are cute and also quite spacious. Fanaka also arranged a guided hike for me for the very next day. I can only recommend starting the hike to Mtae from here. I was also able to leave my luggage here without any extra payment and on my return day I also got some extra free breakfast. Especially the bread is quite delicious and a lot better than anything else you can really get in Tanzania. Also the view over Lushoto is quite nice.

Really great place to stay. The place is super clean and comfortable. The view is fantastic. The owner is a great guy, very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
