I am sharing my experience during my stay at Prajwal homestay, Kariramapura, Hampi. We booked a room for three adults for our stay. The room was neat, and clean, and found similar except for a few that are posted on the booking.com website. We enjoyed our stay at this residence.

However, it seems to me a little overpriced and did not offer a few facilities included in the list. The AC was not working properly, although it was on. The towel was missing for one person. There were no slippers as mentioned. The owner was more interested in pursuing us to ride their autorickshaw. Later we found that the owner quoted a price much higher than we used elsewhere. The major shock came to us when we insisted GST receipt for the payment that included tax. The owner declined to offer us a receipt when I paid Rs.3359 for one night, which included tax.

Great location not far from hampi and a short walk from good places to eat. We felt very welcome at the homestay and highly recommend the breakfast! Maybe the best breakfast we had during a month in India. The room is very comfy and spacious and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Definitely recommend everyone to stay at Prajwal Homestay Courteous hosts, very helpful. One of the few places in hampi to have AC. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We really enjoyed our stay at Prajwal and his family's place. Communication upfront was easy and fast, everything was perfectly organized for our arrival and during our stay, everyone made sure we enjoy Hampi and was very flexible with our wishes. We probably had the best Tuktuk driver in town, Prajwal's father Raj drove us around Hampi for two days and always found us when we got lost:). We also really enjoyed the very delicious breakfast made by Prajwal's sweet mom and got to enjoy it in the family's home. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. We recommend staying here if you wish to be taken care of like a family member and have a perfectly organized stay.

The price for the room and especially the extra charge for a third person staying in our room felt a little high, however it was a national holiday, so it might be okay, just felt a little overpriced. Also, the guest house was overbooked for the first night but it was directly taken care of that we were placed in another place for one night, so it was not a big deal for us. We still enjoyed our stay.

Great communication via WhatsApp prior to our arrival. Our train was delayed 8 hours and Raj still picked us up at the Hospet station at 0130am! Home cooked food was great and we had 3 full days site seeing all around Hampi. Highly recommend!
