Oriole Homestay

The property is located in a very calm small street. You can walk from there to the city center and the way is calm and very beautiful. The house is green, very well maintained. The room was upstairs with a private staircase which ables you to go to restaurant at night and come back without making noise. We booked Family Room. One room with two single beds and one room with the bathroom and large double bed. Beds were very comfortable, fans were available. The bathroom is very convenient. It was clean and nicely set up, we slept like babies. The lady was so nice, the home made breakfast was delicious, dosa and coconut chutney, small bananas, egg 😍. Very friendly, smiling and gentle. I strongly recommend this place.

The property location is good. The hosts are very helpful and polite. Also helped us by providing rice for him. Helped us to get the ticket for a cultural show.

There are no options available for breakfast. If the breakfast stretch is more then it would be great. The balcony was missing, it would be great if the balcony is attached to all bedrooms it would be more fascinating

Sunila is such a lovely, kind host. She made me feel welcome as I came through the gate. The room and bathroom are spacious. The decor is lovely, new and modern. I had a roof balcony with a bench. Sunila was so helpful with planning entertainment and transport. Thank you. The homestay is in easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, the cultural centre, and the national park's ticket office.

Sunila kindly brought me hot water in a flask to make tea, but a kettle would have been nice.

A lovely place! Clean, modern, big room. Nice and helpful hosts. We would come again any time.

It was better than any 3* hotels. Love to stay again in my next Trip. Owner of the property was very helpful and approachable. They went ahead to delight me for comfortable stay.

All was good and as per my expectations.

Large,spacious,spotlessly clean room with balcony. Comfy large bed. Great hot shower with toiletries provided. Quiet location yet only a short walk into town. Hosts were very friendly and helpful- they even gave us a lift to the bus stop as we were running late. Great value for money. I’d definitely would stay here again.

Everything with respect to room and service was so good, they even helped in booking elephant ride, kathakali and kalari tickets was very helpful and great

They recommended a jeep driver Bindus for a offer road ride, they cheated by charging 2500 INR for just 2.5 hours ride, where most of the jeep safari available there just 2000INR for 4 hrs ride, so better go with outside jeep safari as they are plenty available near boat house..
