Oriole Homestay

We stayed for two days here. The location and images are as they are in the details. It's very near to Tiger Reserve. The room is spacious and very clean. All basic amenities are provided of premium quality. We had not a single problem anytime. But the main usp of this place are the hosts. Mr Girish and Mrs Sunila are very warm and helpful. Mr Girish is a person of versatile knowledge and skills, which was very helpful for us to plan activities for our trip. And Mrs Sunila prepared a very delicious breakfast for us. Throughout our stay, they helped us in everything, and it made our Periyar trip so easy and comfortable. One can really ask their suggestions for the trip and take help in making arrangements. If you are planning to book this homestay, you really should. It's truly a "home" - stay

Room much bigger than expected for a homestay. Nice and bright, very clean. The hosts were kind, generous people who went out of their way to make my stay in Kumily a good one. The food was delicious and couldn't have been better. I would have loved to have stayed longer than my 3 nights.

Sunila is a wonderful host, and her husband, Girish, works at the Periyar National Park in Thekaddy and has exceptional knowledge of all the birds and animals in the area. Oriole Homestay is within walking distance of the park, and also within walking distance of a wonderful restaurant called "Tusker" that is right outside the park.

I think we were very happy with our stay.
