Nandana's Residency Munnar - A 4BHK Homestay for Indian Families

A smooth and enjoyable stay. From the moment we arrived, our experience at this accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. The location itself was simply breathtaking, surrounded by natural beauty and tranquility. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the warm hospitality extended to us by our host, Mr. Manoj. From the moment we met him, he exuded kindness and genuine concern for our well-being. He went above and beyond to ensure that we felt at home and had everything we needed. His knowledge of the area was invaluable; he not only recommended the best places to visit but also helped us plan our daily itinerary, ensuring that we made the most of our time. Mr. Manoj provided us with essential contacts that proved to be incredibly helpful during our trip. Whether it was arranging transportation, or providing insider tips, his recommendations were spot-on and greatly enhanced our experience. His dedication to making our stay comfortable and memorable was truly commendable.

The location of the home is perfectly hidden in the hills/mountains of Munnar. You have a beautiful view of the natural scenery from the balcony of each room in the home. The home is also conveniently located near several great restaurants, shops, and attractions. The host also helps make several great recommendations and suggestions about what to do in the area.

The home is comfortable however it is NOT worth the value or money. The home was poorly cleaned and the bathrooms were dirty. It was something each of us in our group noticed and were not pleased with. The wifi is extremely slow. The water in the shower takes forever to get hot and when it does get hot, it’s scalding hot. You can either get super cold water or unbearably hot water… there is no in between. Also, the host is a very nice, helpful, and friendly person however he is also very annoying and pestering. From the time I booked the place, he repeatedly messaged me for several days and nights asking me to confirm my trip despite the fact that I told him we were coming many times. He also demanded a deposit/prepayment despite the fact that it states that prepayment is not required here on booking.com. After reaching the hotel he would repeatedly show up to our rooms at all times of the day and knock on our door early in the morning to ask questions and inform of us things that could have easily been addressed in a quick text message without coming and disturbing us. While fresh out of the shower and not even dressed, he came to my room with two workers knocking on my door to address the issues we were having with the water. Lastly, we also did not appreciate the fact that we were rushed out of the home during checkout. He informed me that checkout time was at 11 o’clock and that another guest was checking in at 2pm. However at 10am the two workers that stay on the property came asking us to leave as soon as possible because the guest was actually coming at 12pm and that they needed to prepare the rooms for them and that they were instructed to quickly rush us out.

The host is very helpful and always ready to help. The property is about 13kms from munnar bus stop and takes about 30 mins to reach but the locality is pleasant with a lot of restaurants. The owner helped us with the food arrangement and local sightseeing. A 10/10 experience.

Located in Anachal this property is calm and Serene. Excellent support by the host Mr. Manoj and care taker Mr. Veeran Annan. We stayed as family of 8 people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to be back again next year.

The villa was comfortable and spacious enough for our family of 12. The staff took good care of us, especially Mr. Manoj.

We travelled from Chennai to Munnar for a leisure trip with 9 adults and 3kids. The property is situated away from the main hotspot where you can find peaceful scenario and mingle with nature with no regular city noise. Mr.Manoj, our host was so friendly and caring that he started to guide us as soon as we started from Chennai. We booked a tempo, but the driver was not in a mindset of giving satisfied customer service and started to misguide us and waste the time. Our host gave a clear plan on what all spots to cover with the time schedule. Just because of that we were able to visit most places that the driver denied. And we spent two days there and Mr.Veeran was the care taker, whose service was very humble and touching. On my personal experience I will suggest my friends and family to stay here in future. And again Thanks to Mr. Manoj for guiding and taking care of us.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly host who immediately made us feel at home. His genuine warmth and eagerness to make our stay comfortable set the tone for the entire visit. Throughout our stay, he went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. The property itself was a haven of tranquility. The rooms were tastefully decorated, exuding a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Every corner of the accommodation was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The location of the property was also ideal. It had breath-taking views of hills, it offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Furthermore, the host has a wealth of knowledge about the area. He has provided valuable insights into local attractions, hidden gems, and restaurant suggestions, ensuring that we made the most of our time there. His recommendations enriched our visit, allowing us to explore the region's beauty and immerse ourself in its rich heritage. In conclusion, our stay at this homestay was an absolute pleasure.
