The staff (family)of the house were very helpful. they are always available. they treat us very well. they also guide us in travel around. we didn't order any food so I can not comment on that.

What we don't like is the room does not have any curtain in windows and there is no any single wardrobe in the room.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Helping organize a trip to the Budddha cave and give me ride to Gaya. Delicious food prepared from organic garden

A wonderful homestay with a lovely family. Getting to meet all the kids here and playing musical chairs with them on the roof top was the highlight of my stay. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. Danish makes the best mixed fruits dahl so be sure to try it! I would definitely stay here again, the location is great, a quiet neighbourhood, about 20 min walk into the centre of town. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Being in the homestay and spending time with the family was one of the best things about my time travelling.

The only thing that needed improvement was that the shared bathroom was not very clean and hadn't been cleaned during my time there either.

Wonderful host, delicious home cooked food and an authentic place.

Washrooms could be cleaner

One of the best places ever stayed. Lovely people, lovely kids and a remote location. Away from the hustle and bustle and everything is still in walking distance. Hosts are super lovely, welcoming and helpful. Plenty of kids to play with and a beautiful rooftop terrace. Just amazing place, everyone should stay here <3

A very nice welcoming place for really good price and specially great food, homemade by the family . The bed was comfortable . There are a lot smiling kids look like angels in the place , and i think the family is the highlight of the place

Ansari house is a beautiful place to stay. Located in peaceful area - surrounded with gardens, with a nice view on Mahabodhi Temple. You can get to main attractions and local market by walking 20-30 minutes, or can get there with rickshaws in 5 minutes. Family that runs guest house is very nice and welcoming. You can order home made food, made with organic veggies from their own garden. Prices are very reasonable, recommend to try dry fruits dhal and special biryani. Hot water and other necessary facilities are available. But the real gem of this house are kids - they are very cute and curious and would be happy to interact with you, if you are up to it.
