By far the best homestay i’ve at so far on my travels. Dhanishwar, Janiki and Indu are are amazing hosts who made sure i was comfortable and helped me with whatever i needed. Their hospitality is top tier, serving delicious food and tea. The rooms were very very comfortable particularly the beds which allowed for a great sleep. The details such as the different lighting options in the rooms made it extra special. I could have stayed here for weeks and talking with the family was a pleasure each day. Taking the guests out on Holi was a really special experience which i will remember forever! I hope to be able to return one day and highly recommend this homestay to everyone travelling to Tansen.

Horizon Homestay is a warm and cosy accommodation if you want to spend some time in Tansen. The family running it makes you feel at home and are very welcoming. The room is nice and clean and with an incredible view. I could stay only one night but I hope to come back to Tansen sooner or later.

Such a beautiful homestay in Tansen! Janaki, Dhani and Indu were amazing hosts, so friendly, funny, kind and genuine - they really made us feel at home. The food was amazing, we had delicious omlette and banana pancakes with local honey for breakfast and ate Dahl bhat both nights with the family, also delicious! We also did the city walking tour with Janaki which was really informative and helped us see some places we would never find by ourselves. We stayed in the balcony room which was very clean and cosy and the balcony had an amazing view over Tansen and the hills. Thank you Horizon Homestay family!

The room is nice and comfortable, but what made this trip special was the hospitality of the owners, who in a matter of days made me feel like being part of the family. I already knew the people from Nepal are very friendly but in this homestay I truly felt cared for and welcomed and I had a great time. I hope to be back soon!

With the stairs and the size of the room, big luggage is not the best idea

The family were very friendly and welcoming. Tansen, is not on the main tourist trail and we were made to feel very safe and secure. We were offered the opportunity to have a family meal, which included time before to help with food preparation - it was all very informal and nice. The food was tasty and all vegetarian, we were offered both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The view from the balcony is amazing.

It does have a metal spiral staircase to the two ensuite rooms so be aware if you aren't comfortable with this access.

Gorgeous little guesthouse with a beautiful view of Tansen. We watched sunrise from our balcony every morning. Janaki and Inthu were such helpful hosts. My husband had broken his foot and was not feeling well whilst we stayed and Janaki was so attentive giving him herbal medicines and helping us book our travel to Pokhara. Felt like a home away from home! Will definitely stay again!
