Horizon Homestay

We had an amazing stay at Horizen. The location is perfect, rooms spotless, breakfast delicious and the hosts are sooo welcoming and friendly. Tansen is an unspoilt location, visited by only a small number of tourists, but would highly recommend adding the town (and a stay at Horizon) - 10/10 is the only rating you can give.

Everything perfect

Exceptional guests made us feel at ease and cared, they helped us with everything. The two rooms on the top floor are very comfortable: they have a nice view and a shared terrace. We liked a lot Tansen, it’s a peaceful place and yet there is so much to see and explore.

Gorgeous views from my room and balcony. I was fortunate to have come during the Teej festival and loved the firsthand local experience of celebrating with this lovely family as various relatives had come to stay. It is a just short 5-min walk to the central plaza (Sitalpati), and there are a few amazing restaurants within 5-15 mins walk.

Be prepared for the steep walk up to the property entrance from the road. It is only about 20 steps but is treacherously slippery after the rains.

Hospitality is good

Water seems to be a problem here.
